Rockwood Police - Now Hiring

The Rockwood Police Department is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our law enforcement team as a Police Records Clerk / Confidential Secretary. This position is a vital component in delivering police services to the community and ensuring departmental communications and records systems are functioning properly. NOTICE OF INTENT TO REQUEST RELEASE OF FUNDS

On or about July 24, 2024 the City of Rockwood will submit a request to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Michigan State Field Office for the release of Community Project Funding (CPF) funds under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (Public Law 117-328), to undertake a project known as the City of Rockwood Road Replacement for the purpose of replacing roadway section within the incorporated City limits that are in poor condition. The HUD CPF grant totals $750,000.00

FEMA Disaster Declaration Approved

To our Rockwood residents,

The request for disaster declaration as a result of the storms in August 2023 has been approved. This unlocks assistance for our impacted residents. Residents and business owners who sustained losses in the designated areas can begin applying for assistance at https://www.fema.gov/disaster/4757, by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362), or by using the FEMA App (https://ready.gov/fema-app).

Anyone using a relay service, such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others can give FEMA the number for that service.
