Deer SurveyRockwood Deer Survey

The City of Rockwood is asking residents to share their experiences with the community's growing deer population by participating in the 2026 Deer Management Pulse of the Region Survey.

Resident feedback will help inform decisions regarding safe roads, healthy wildlife, and deer management throughout the community. Residents are encouraged to complete the survey by November 1, 2026.

HELP US TEST OUR REGION'S WATERS!

man and woman conducting water testingEnjoy being outdoors while helping to protect our local waters! Get outside, meet new people, and learn how to collect water quality data and measure stream flow with the Alliance of Downriver Watersheds' volunteer Chemistry and Flow Monitoring Program! No prior experience needed.

Volunteers are expected to commit to a spring field training and 3 additional sampling trips during the growing season (April through September) to designated monitoring sites in the Downriver area. During each sampling trip, volunteers spend 2-4 hours in the field. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for folks with flexible daytime availability.

New participants must attend an in-person program orientation session on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 am-11:00 am at the Lake Erie Metropark.
