RFP - WWTP CIP Project
The City of Rockwood ("Rockwood"), Michigan ("MI"), through its City Council ("Council") is requesting proposals for the removal & replacement of existing components, vactor/removal of sludge & power washing sludge pits, and miscellaneous pump, valve, and piping work at the Rockwood Waste Water Treatment Plant, located at 33653 Swallow Drive Rockwood, MI 48173. Proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City of Rockwood, 32409 Fort Road, Rockwood, MI 48173 until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 26, 2022, at which time said Proposals shall be publicly opened and read aloud.
Sealed envelopes containing the quotations shall be labeled as follows:

Quote Specifications may be obtained on or after May 10, 2022 at the office of the City Engineer C.E. Raines Company, 17700 Fort Street, Riverview, MI 48193, free of charge.
Each respondent must submit three (3) copies of the Proposal. All Proposals shall remain firm, and shall not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days, following date of receipt.
A Mandatory Pre-Quotation Conference will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Rockwood City Hall, 32409 Fort Road, Rockwood, MI 48173. Representatives of OWNER and ENGINEER will be present to discuss the Project. Contractors are required to attend and participate in the conference and tour of the Site. ENGINEER will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda, as ENGINEER considers necessary in
The City of Rockwood will award the contract without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, height, and weight or handicap status.
The City of Rockwood reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, waive any irregularity in any Proposal, and to make an award of Contract in any manner, deemed in its best interest.
